 Are You a Believer?

 I remember years ago when the word ‘Believe’ was a really important word for me.  I told myself that if I believed something enough, it would be true for me. I even bought things with the word ‘Believe’ on it and placed them around my home and office to remind me to believe in myself and my goals – a banner, a pewter stone, a mug.  Believe is still a word that stirs something within me and, now though, I have another word that has even more significance for me… The word is ‘knowing’. 

Sometimes Believing is Just the Beginning

Yes, believing in something or someone is a great place to start. Believing you’ll get that new account, believing that your relationship will work, believing you can release the weight or the negativity – these beliefs can serve, inspire and motivate you to positive results. What I have found though is that ‘Knowing’ moves me at the level of my soul. 

A Deep Inner Knowing Provides Ease, Peace and Strength

Think about the things in your life that you simply know to be true. It might be the depth of love you have for your children or spouse, or it might be the knowledge that there is a supreme being or higher source. It might even be the knowing that you are on a purposeful path in your life. You could say you believe these things or you could say you know them. For me, knowing is more powerful and inspiring. When I allow my inner guidance system to guide me from the seat of my soul, it is here that I learn what I ‘know’. 

Getting to the Place of Knowing is a Sacred Experience

When you allow yourself to accept what you ‘know’ to be true, you feel empowered and strengthened beyond measure. When you ‘know’ what is right for you and you follow the path, no amount of resistance, drama or fear will hold you back. When you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are a Child of God and deserving of all you desire, you feel at peace in your own skin. How do you get there? You can’t think your way into this one…you must ‘feel’ your way to it. You must allow the flow, allow the joy, allow the ease. You must open yourself to what is at the heart and of your being. You must simply choose to be. You can do this through silence and, stillness or you can do this through inspired action.  Either way, when you do this, 

You Will ‘Know’ You have Found Your ‘Knowing’.
Now, that’s Powerful!

One Simple Thing to Boost Your Metabolism

Okay, ladies, are you ready for this? The single most important factor to boosting your metabolism and turning on the weight loss ignition switch is to stop eating salad for lunch. That ‘s right! Stop eating salad for lunch!  Why? Well, first let me say that I am a huge advocate for whole foods and in particular the dark, leafy green variety. So, I am not saying I want you to stop eating fresh veggies, salads and fruit. In fact I want you to eat more. 

But here is the skinny on salads – it’s not the salad that is doing you in, it is the time of day that you are eating the salad that is throwing off everything from gaining weight, diabetes, PMS, irritability fatigue and a whole host of symptoms that underly the problem. 

That is a big statement and s something you may not hear everyday. What is the foundation for that statement? It is blood sugar regulation. Blood sugar regulation is by far one of the most important tipping points to good heath and can help you ward off diseases like diabetes and obesity, and a whole host of problems that stem from the silent inflammation that occurs when our hormones and systems are out of sync. You hear a a lot about insulin everyday but usually we don’t make the mental connection that it is a hormone. As consumers we understand that we do not want out hormones to be out of balance, but rarely do we think of insulin as the hormone or culprit in how we feel. 

Insulin regulates blood sugar. Every cell in the body has insulin receptors and needs insulin to be healthy and to shuttle the good things into the cells and the bad things out.When insulin get out of balance there is a domino effect on all the other hormones in the body. Over time we see the effect of the imbalance in more pronounced ways like PMS, adrenal fatigue, cravings and weight gain. It becomes a downward spiral that contributes to not feeling good enough to do even the bare minimums of life and we get stuck in the rut of doing less, eating more and not feeling our best. 

The second reason why we need to reconsider ditching the lunch time salad and replacing it with our biggest meal of the day is because our digestive fire is greatest at lunchtime. That means we should be eating our heaviest meal at lunchtime, and have the salad at dinner. Now, I know you might be saying to yourself, “but I’ll be hungry!” Actually you won’t feel as hungry at dinner time because you will have already met your calorie needs for the day and still have had time to burn some of them off before bedtime. Supper is supposed to be supplemental. Therefore,  I recommend that you eat your diner at lunch time and your lunch salad at dinner. You will be amazed at how much better you feel and you may just even drop a few unwanted pounds. 

When you start to think about it this way it is very hard to go back to the old, out dated view of food because it does not serve your biggest mission in life: to feel good and to live your BestLife365, right!

So let’s get to it ladies! 

Tip #1: Here is a tip that will help you to make the I’m having salad at dinnertransition. Go ahead and cook dinner each evening and serve it for the family but make your portion very small and have a gorgeous spinach, field greens or arugula salad with it. The salad should comprise 51% of your plate. With the balance of what you would have eaten, but did not, store it and pack it for tomorrow’s lunch. Now you have less to do in the morning. It may seem a little different at first but soon what you will notice is that you are not as crazy hungry as you used to be when dinner time rolls around and your need to snack lessens or is gone completely. Think of the calories you will save by eliminating the HiddenHungerTM that is behind binge eating and snacking.

Tip #3: Never skip meals because your blood sugar will dip. Once your blood sugar dips you will find it nearly impossible to have will power and may end up eating things you will regret later. Now remember, the bigger hidden problem with that is lurking behind cravings may be blood sugar.  When blood sugar fluctuates wildly, so do your hormones and your whole body system will experience symptoms that you do not want.

Are you tired of being “stuck” with no good solution?  Are you still stumped and uncertain about where your life is headed? 

But you’re too busy to really figure out a better way… 

Do you just feel like you are spinning wheels some days?  You wake up with opportunity, yet go to bed without a solution or making new choices.   Just sick and tired of feeling “stuck.” 

Ah yes, yet another familiar day on the hamster wheel!  I’ve spent many years of my life just running the same circular course! 

If you continue to do what you have always done before, you will continue to create in the same way.

If you continue to think the way you have thought before, you will never have a new idea. 

If you always see things with a superficial glance, you will continue to see on the surface what you have already seen. 

You just need to become a little more aware about who you really are!

Are you stumped at trying to find a true solution to your life’s challenges?  Do you have that incomplete “feeling” and can’t pinpoint what’s missing or what’s gotta go?

I know what it feels like to not know that.  I know what it feels like to be lost, uncertain, and out of balance on the inside and out, and living on the hamster wheel.  Though illness and challenges, I found my Beautiful Blinks of Wisdom.  I gained awareness and clarity that was so empowering that it has transformed my entire being.  I want you to have that same feeling.  I want you to have that power too. 

Sometimes people have challenges determining this…I understand this.  I did too!  But, I found a way and now I can help you gain this life-changing clarity.

Stop empowering someone else to reveal your brilliance for you.  Feel into your brilliance!  Start looking for intuitive guidance.  Look in the mirror.  Get real, be natural, go back to the beginning.

  • Learn to follow your intuition and inspiration.
  • Stop playing small!
  • Start gaining confidence in leaps and bounds from within.

Don’t you really want to know with 100% clarity who you really are!  We all have questioned that very same thing!  The truth is, you already know.  You just have to remember.  I can help!

Exhale all doubt.  Immediately get “unstuck” for a few moments.  Connect with yourself and feel the tingle of energy coming up through your feet and legs, and moving up into your entire body. Feel the Creative Spark! You will begin to grow magically like the grass!

He hits the nail on the head in this excerpt from his blog post,  There Is A Solution:
